This book explores the use of Blockchain and smart contract technologies to develop new ways to finance independent films and digital media worldwide. Using case studies of Alibaba and in-depth, on-set observation of a Sino-US coproduction, as well as research collected from urban China, Hong Kong, Europe, and the USA, Online Film Production in China Using Blockchain and Smart Contracts explores new digital platforms and what this means for the international production of creative works. This research assesses the change in media consciousness from young urban audiences, their emergence as a potential participative and creative community within dis-intermediated, decentralised and distributed crowdfunding and crowdsourcing models. This research proposes solutions on how these young emerging local creative talents can be identified and nurtured early on, particularly those who now produce creative and artistic audiovisual content whether these works are related to film, Virtual Reality (VR), video game, graphic novels, or music. Ultimately, a new media content finance and production platform implementing blockchain is proposed to bring transparency in the film sector and open doors to emerging artists in digital media. Appropriate for both professionals and academics in the film industry as well as computer science.

A study of recent shifts in the depictions of Asian cultural stereotypes The Tao of S is an engaging study of American racialization of Chinese and Asians, Asian American writing, and contemporary Chinese cultural production, stretching from the nineteenth century to the present. Sheng-mei Ma examines the work of nineteenth-century "Sinophobic" American writers, such as Bret Harte, Jack London, and Frank Norris, and twentieth-century "Sinophiliac" authors, such as John Steinbeck and Philip K. Dick, as well as the movies Crazy Rich Asians and Disney's Mulan and a host of contemporary Chinese authors, to illuminate how cultural stereotypes have swung from fearmongering to an overcompensating exultation of everything Asian. Within this framework Ma employs the Taoist principle of yin and yang to illuminate how roles of the once-dominant American hegemony—the yang—and the once-declining Asian civilization—the yin—are now, in the twenty-first century, turned upside down as China rises to write its side of the story, particularly through the soft power of television and media streamed worldwide. A joint publication from the University of South Carolina Press and the National Taiwan University Press.

Back in 2008, when Satoshi Nakamoto launched Bitcoin, the knowledge of blockchain application was limited to cryptocurrencies and digital cash, then more and more industries began using blockchain to utilize its incredible benefits. This book is the result of my years of research and work on artificial intelligence ( A.I ) in digital marketing, A.I Blockchain search engines, Fintech and Blockchain driven social media, CRM systems and marketing automation. Unfortunately many articles that people write on Medium, Forbes and the other highly ranked websites are taken from books about Blockchain without giving any credit to those books’ authors. I have provided relevant sources of information in this field which can be found at the reference section.Digital marketing experts and companies do not take blockchain technology seriously. They rely on their outdated online marketing tools. Times have changed. Things are very different now than they used to be. Current digital marketing methods do not generate leads and sales. This is why online businesses use more money on marketing processes which do not trigger enough sales. The majority of search engines have implemented A.I, machine learning and deep learning in their systems. Digital marketing is one such industry that will massively be benefiting from blockchain. Online marketing processes will be easier to handle if we implement A.I blockchain. In this book, we’ll discuss in detail about how blockchain can alleviate skepticism and build a decentralized environment for their consumers and themselves. We will go through various aspects of blockchain in order to understand the impact of blockchain on online marketing and digital marketing processes.
